Newspaper genres and TV/Film westerns. 2) What examples are provided of the importance of narrative in identifying genre? In soap operas, domestic problems are typically the focus of a family. Blog feedback and learner response

What is your strongest piece of work?  Reading an image - media codes blog tasks. The analysis of that blog post is the highest i did and i feel proud of the description. What is your weakest?  i personally don't think that their is a weakest as the ones that are "weaker" then the others just simply didn't require that much effort so it wouldn't be fair if i said they were weak. What specific skills or knowledge do you need to develop over the rest of the course? I feel like i need to develop my analysis as in going more in depth, describing and expanding my knowledge of media.

P referred  Reading - RBK probably wanted to by using 50 cent to show independence  and strength  of his persona/character and associate  to them as a brand. They tried doing this by showing his shoulder scar as well as him being serious.  Opposite  Reading - Some people might interrupt this as RBK supporting crime and gang violence as 50 cent has a criminal history which might damage  their brand as connections with him can lead to people not wanting to buy "criminal supporting" shoes/clothes. The lighting is dark and shadowy and there is a lot of focus on his shoulder scar which could make us think what has happened to him. Written/verbal - The message on the poster seems to be positive as it is trying to ispire us to take action and enjoy our life today as tomorrow is not promised. He is probably saying this from experience of being so focused on the future that he lost track of the present and now is regretting it. Symbolic - His facial expression is serious and determined. He is wearing what seems to be expensive jewellery which is a sing of wealth and success which is tremendously inspiring as we know he hadn't had the best childhood. Narrative  - the fingerprints beneath the writing offer us a narrative of a possible criminal background or gang violence. Technical -  The advertisement featu
